Woman’s Hour and ‘Today is a Good Day’

August 18, 2010

Hello everyone!

We’ve had a lot of people asking about the song we played on Woman’s Hour last Friday. It was a recent one of ours called ‘Today is a Good Day’, and although it’s not available yet, it will be on our next CD due to be recorded in October. Because we’ve had so many people asking for that song, we will do our best to get a rough version of it up on either Youtube, or available as a free download on our MySpace page. We’ll keep you posted about that here, on our Facebook  page and also in our monthly mailing list.  For now though, you can listen again to the Woman’s Hour interview version (unfortunately this version has a couple of verses missing as we had a strict 2 minute time limit!) here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00t89gb

On the Woman’s Hour recording, the piece on bluegrass is right at the end of the show, and starts around 35:48 in the recording, with the song itself starting around 40:48
