H! I just happened to tune in to Women’s Hour this morning. The show contained interviews with women about 2 of my favourite things – beer and bluegrass! It was lovely to hear some great bluegrass (not to mention your voices harmonising so well) from you.
Perhaps I should add that I am a bluegrass banjo player from the West Country – albeit Somerset. I just wanted to say have a great time at Saltburn and good luck. I shall be on the look out for you.
All the best, keep on pickin’ and singing.

Absolutely blown away by the sisters on woman’s hour which I came across accidentally whilst plugging in mt recording studio to play some banjo!!! On the strength of this bought two tickets for Hemsley concert and about to buy the album. (Went to Merlefest this year – they should be there themselves.

Thanks! Unfortunately that particular song is very new and isn’t on any of our current CD’s. It will be on the next one which we’re recording in October though. If you’d like to be kept updated on when that one will be released, the best thing to do is to sign up to our mailing list (all the info on how to do that is on the contact page of this website).

I tuned in to your song you sang on Woman’s hour about a lovely day, birds singing yodalodee etc but cannot find it or the title to listen again. It was a great happy melody and I loved it. Can you help?? BTW couldn’t find you on “Spotify”. All the best looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks! That particular song is not recorded yet. We’re doing a new album in October though and it will be on that. If you like to know when it’s out, you can sign up to our mailing list (details on the contact page) and we can keep everyone updated that way. Unfortunately we’re not on Spotify but you can hear some tracks on our MySpace page and also there’s a fair amount of live stuff on youtube now.
